Sunday, 23rd April, saw 64 juniors and their families, coaches and supporters filling Mold LC to capacity for the Gareth Coppack Memorial Tournament. Clubs from Buckley, Flint, Rossett, Connah’s Quay, Prestatyn and Christleton took part, with an age range from 7 to 17. The whole event was played in a brilliantly sporting manner and it was great to see kids who hadn’t competed before taking part.
The trophy went to Flint A who didn’t drop a game in the competition, silver medals went to Christleton A, and bronze to St Peter’s A and Prestatyn A who were third and fourth respectively.
Thanks to players, supporters, coaches and helpers and to the Coppack family who came to present the trophy.
