Prestatyn’s first match of the season was the match that fills half of us with dread – A team vs B team! Well it seems from the photo that they had a great time, even though the match ended 14-2 to the A team.
Players of the match were Prestatyn B’s Dom McCarthy and Ashley Tazzyman who won a close fought battle, keeping their composure and nerve and winning 19-21 and 18-21 in their first ever league game.
In the other matches Hawarden’s team strength led to 10-0 win against Connah’s Quay but their team who hosted Llanferres C suffered a heavy defeat the following day, losing 9-1.
